If you are feeling stuck, unsure of why you are feeling what you are feeling, or don't know what to do next, counseling is a wonderful place to start. We all deserve to find and experience joy in our lives, and this looks different for everyone. Whether you are overwhelmed and burned out by work, school, or life in general, or finding it difficult to cope with life's many challenges, you do not have to go through it alone. I believe that growth looks different for every person, as does the path it takes to get there. I work together with my clients to determine what that path will look like, helping clients find and use their strengths to meet their personal goals. I value the unique perspective and experience that each person brings to counseling and work to ensure clients find value in their individuality.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#78657) in Texas and obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and my Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University. I have received training in Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and  Motivational Interviewing and utilize an eclectic approach with a client-centered and trauma-informed perspective. I have a wide range of experience working with adults, adolescents, and families in various settings, including in private practice, partial hospital programs, mental health crisis teams, schools, and outpatient mental health centers providing group and individual and group counseling. This breadth of experience has given me a comprehensive understanding on how positive change can be made.
