LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#65993) in Texas. After receiving my Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, I earned a Master’s of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Prior to my therapeutic experience, I worked in a variety of settings, including the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, School Counseling, and Child Protective Services. I have been a counselor for 11 years and have provided both individual and group counseling on various issues. I utilize a holistic approach from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma Focused Therapy using a multitude of techniques to help clients reach their fullest potential.
Self-balance and mindfulness are very important to me, so I practice running and Pilates to live a healthy life.
