I believe my clients are the experts in their own lives, and I am simply here to offer tools, support, and guidance as they build the future they want. Grounded in the belief that understanding and action are essential to healing, I use an active and collaborative process to create a space where meaningful, personalized change can take root and grow. Authentic transformation often comes from facing the hard stuff head-on, so I bring a direct and solution-focused approach and am not afraid to be honest or to challenge clients when needed. My style is practical, structured, and goal-oriented—often incorporating homework to help clients stay on track and apply what we talk about outside of session.
Â
My work has been shaped by years of experience helping individuals navigate the long-term impact of adverse experiences. Understanding how the past impacts behavior, development, and relationships allows me to approach each person with compassion and clarity—focusing not just on what’s happening, but on why, and what can be done to aid in recovery. Working closely with each client, whether child, teen, or adult, allows me to truly realize their unique needs, strengths, and challenges. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, so we will build a treatment plan that is practical and highly individualized.
Â
Throughout my clinical practice, I have worked with clients across the lifespan in tasks, such as assisting parents with behavioral strategies for young children, supporting adolescents facing serious psychiatric challenges, and helping adults manage the everyday weight of mental health issues and life transitions. Especially when treating children, I strongly believe in involving parents or guardians throughout the journey; sustainable change rarely happens in isolation and takes the entire system adjusting together. Healing doesn't just belong to the individual but belongs to the whole family, so I partner with caregivers to ensure they feel equipped, supported, and informed.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE
Â
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#109177) with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Baylor University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. My professional experience spans a wide range of clinical settings—from a small nonprofit counseling center to a large private hospital—treating some of the most acute pediatric psychiatric cases in the nation. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, from infants to adults in their 90s, and have supported clients through everything from suicidal ideation to building foundational life skills, like making appointments and managing daily routines. This diverse background has equipped me to treat a wide variety of diagnoses and draw from multiple therapeutic modalities.Â
It's hard to see your child suffering and feel powerless to help. Your child may struggle with anxiety, behavior, self-esteem, academics, or fitting in with peers. Maybe your child is recovering from a trauma, parental divorce, or death in the family. We have trained professionals here to help.
Types of Counseling

What will my first therapy session be like?
After looking over your paperwork and informing you about confidentiality, you and your counselor will discuss your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. Your counselor will decide if they are the best clinician to meet your needs, and you will decide if your counselor is a comfortable fit.
