Life Transitions
You deserve support that truly honors your experience. As a therapist that has had to navigate my own difficult life experiences, I understand the need to feel seen, heard, and validated. I am passionate about helping individuals and strive to create an affirming, non-judgement space to build trust and gently explore old wounds and current life circumstances. You already have the capacity within you to heal. Allow me to act as a compassionate guide on your therapy journey, helping you access your strength and discover your innate value and resilience.
Â
Operating within a cultural and trauma informed lens, I am LGBTQA+ affirming and use and empathetic, person-centered approach in my work. There is no direct path to healing and no one size fits all method to therapy, so I work with each individual to tailor interventions, often employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family System/parts work, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is an evidence-based practice used to relieve symptoms and heal the emotional distress that results from trauma and disturbing life experiences.
Â
If you are ready to explore the past, make sense of present challenges, and design your own future, I am here to listen. Together, we will work to navigate the complexities of your life and improve your mental, emotional, and overall well-being.
