Relationship Issues

Whatever your reasons for finding a therapist, I am glad that you have taken this step. As a client-centered therapist, I believe that you are a unique individual, and will make it my goal to help you live your best life.

We will focus on the challenges that are important to you and use a variety of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for youth, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengths-based techniques.

My role as a therapist is not to tell you what to do but to provide a safe space in which we will work together to navigate through the journey ahead. I believe in building a professional relationship in which you feel comfortable sorting through overwhelming or sensitive issues. Creating long-term change in therapy often requires hard work and happens slowly. You’re not alone in this process, however, and I am here to provide you with the tools and resources to make this change possible. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.
