In my practice, I am client-centered and use a holistic approach. I will put you and your needs first while addressing all the factors contributing to your troubles and hindering the fulfillment of your goals. I am also a trauma-informed clinician who is passionate about treating the underlying distress often contributing to the depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and interpersonal issues experienced. Talking about the past is not always easy, however, so I will always work at your pace with your well-being in mind.

As an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained clinician, I help clients process through negative memories. I have witnessed first-hand the powerful transformations and peace that can be found through EMDR when clients are ready. I am also trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and can use this technique to help you better understand and change your thinking patterns that may be negatively impacting your life.

​I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#77818) practicing in Texas, and my education includes a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University. With over 5 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have treated a wide range of people and a multitude of concerns.
