As a caring and empathetic therapist, I approach each individual with unconditional positive regard. My job is to provide support and encouragement to assist you in the process of change and healing. Creating change requires trust, and I will partner with you as you bravely take the steps in a new direction. Finding support as you heal from hard situations requires compassion, care, and a safe place to explore your feelings. Using a cognitive behavioral approach, we can create an individualized plan to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

I am excited to work with you on your healing path towards acceptance, genuine change, and success.

LICENSE, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#79063) practicing in the State of Texas with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. My experience in the mental health field includes working with those with severe and persistent mental illness in a community mental health clinic and working in a church setting seeing individuals, couples, and groups. I have conducted multiple trainings on crisis intervention, suicide prevention and accessing care resources for law enforcement and other community partners. As the Clinical Director for the Washington County First Responder Association, I have had experience working with law enforcement, firefighters, dispatchers, and emergency medical services to reduce the effects of trauma encountered in the line of duty.
